I love college, but I’m so totally homesick Boo .

*Future warning to students* – don’t do bioengineering for pre-med unless you want to work your butt off and have no life (unless you’re a true genius unlike me *.^)

I’m sick . It hurts when I cough now, and I feel bad being around my friends because I worry about getting them sick. But I love them too much to not hang around hahah .

I like the Christian groups here though .

I have a piece of fabric hanging on my wall; I plan to put pictures on them *.^, so if you guys could please send me some pictures it would be AWESOME. Or a letter with words of encouragement!!! (Yes, I’m desperate because I’m asking for letters from home)!

So, college… hahah

It’s fun . It’s great! It’s.. hard haha.

I’ve been rethinking my plans about the future, and yes, I know, it’s only been 3 days. Phewww lol.
Doctor? Research? Engineer? *Shrugs* Should I change my major? lol NOOO idea.

It’s so weird being here. Everything I was good at, everyone else is a step above me lol. When we say people are competition, they really are competition, because engineering classes are on a curve >.< lol.

Anyway, when you’re away from home, you start to realize how much support everyone gave you back at home. It’s weird not having food ready for you, or having the friends you used to have back at home. It’s a whole new environment . I love it, but I also miss my old times too.

I’ve been church hopping with a “sturdy little crew” of Christians . I like them muchos, yayyyy friends! lol
It’s so hard to choose a church, every one of them = WOOHOO lol. I spent an hour talking to someone I met last night at a church who happens to be on my floor. Yay someone to talk to! haha.

I know why the freshmen 15 will happen to me now! Whenever I’m studying or doing hw, I’m ALWAYS chewing lol. You guys won’t recognize me when I come back !

So, Mr. “I update everyday and talk about my life online” is back from a long break

I’m so bored that I chose someone’s xanga and clicked previous like.. 10 times, just looking at whatever pictures she put up lol. Then it hit me, “I SHOULD UPDATE!”

Well, the first day of college for me was a pain in the booty. Not that great. I was basically the only freshmen actively living in my building, and… well, bored with no friends. I carried in 125 pounds of luggage by myself , until a kick butt awesome senior named Emily Buzzell saved my life and took me into my room lol. Then.. I sat around really homesick for a while lol.

The days after that have been better . Meeting a lot of great people and great friends. College is nothing like I’ve ever expected…well, kind of lol, but I can’t really give my final judgement yet because class hasn’t started. I personally think I’ve made the right group of friends so far . I’m accepting others for who they are, while I also stay closer with people who have positive influences on me. (I was scared at first because I thought there wouldn’t be many “non-’partiers’”). I just think i’m not that into the millions of frat parties here. I’d rather spend time to get to know friends or whatnot which is great!

So there were some really boring orientation events, and some really funny ones. overall, everything’s pretty nice. My roommate and I get along really well. I like him even though a lot of us thought we wouldn’t get along lol. He’s an orthodox Jew (really strong one) and I’m a Christian. But we’re learning to compromise and it’s all good! My room’s a kick-butt room too so yay .

I’m just not used to the raining and weather here. Vegas weather…I miss the non-humidity, but not the heat . Sorry to you there who are suffering from it haha. But I’m also suffering from the sweat or the coldness . Everyone thinks it’s fine weather when I”m freezing my butt off haha.

I think I’m sort of a changed person here. JoAnna put it as, “more confident and relaxed.” haha
I think I’m getting over some of the things from back home, starting new, and it’s really great. Forget the past troubles, keep the strength, and live to make everyone else happy . Share Jesus’ love!

Tomorrow, my classes start so…. YAY lol (I’m not sure if that’s a sarcastic Yay or sincere Yay yet).

Oh, and the freshmen 15 hasn’t even started yet. I’ve lost 6 pounds lol. But it’ll gain back , I’ve had ice cream every meal since yesterday haha.

Bye Las Vegas

Okay, this is it my last real post “living” in Las Vegas. I’m leaving my house 6:10 am tomrrow morning and off I go on an airplane to start a new life lol.

It’s sad . I look at my closet and it’s empty. I look in my drawers and it’s empty. I look in my room and it’s empty, not to mention, owner-less for a while, but I look in my heart, and I see everyone who’s made an impact on me in my life , so it’s FULL! lol

I’d like to say bye to my favorite wife-beater that I’ve worn since elementary school. It has TONS of holes in it so it will die after I wear it tonight lol. If anyone can ever find me a wife-beater that great, I will be REALLY happy. (It won’t happen haha)

I will seriously miss all of you guys . You all have been so great to me and I know of no words that can describe each and every one of you all. Thanks for the great times .

It might be bye bye to xanga for a while.. we’ll see how my schedule works

Jack woke me up and we went to the gym . Togetherrr for the last time, whoa lol. But it was fun lol.
I walked out and said, “goodbye my faithful and loyal treadmill #4, who never failed me.” haha and then “Goodbye 24 hour fitness” lol.

Then I went to go bowl w/Jane, Grace, David, PK, and Eunice . I did horrible today lol, Then went to say bye to Mr. West at Clark tennis, finally met Matt, and then went home.

Janny surprisingly dropped by and it was like *shock* haha. But she brought us cheesecake thanks.
Then Wayne and Michael stopped by and dropped by some personal messages on their DVD, and that was really nice .
Then finally Vina stopped by lol and said bye .

Packing… WOW. My closet.. empty lol, my drawers, now plenty of room for Cho’s stuff. *phew* lol I’m moving out .

Tomorrow is basically my last day , since after I sleep tomorrow, I leave right away.
Woohoo lol. Not really, kinda sad hehe.

So I’ve been going out WAY too much lately trying to say bye to everyone lol. It’s not easy at all. Constant phonecalls and schedules trying to be made.

So in the past couple of days, I’ve gone to Denny’s twice, got my final shots, bought stuff for my dorm, and figured out that one of my roommates decided to take a year off of college so that he can participate in a lab research in some hospital lol. SOOO hopefully i’m with my one roommate only haha.

I went to Wayne’s last night and we said our byes. Also saw Doris and Jessica again cool stuff.

Today I went to my gomobu’s house (aunt’s husband). It was fun too lol.

Busy busy days coming up. Don’t have much time left ahhh lol and packing is hard!

I just.. kind of want time to stop for a second lol.

So today was my last day at Elim .
Normal service was great like always, and it was just.. kind of weird haha because I knew I was leaving.

Afterwards, Mina, Soo, Cho, and I went on a secret mission that will not be discussed haha, but all I can say that it was fun yet very tiring lol. Went back, and then took David to get drinks for senior night .

The adult night service was great! Thanks for the prayers and Cho did a good job speaking in Korean lol. Everyone was crying and it was like, ahhh but I only smiled because it was really cute haha. We have 8 new youth group members coming in from Sunday school + a new kid from San Diego , God is blessing us! Woohoo!! Make sure you guys make them feel welcome!

We ate delicious hamburgers and then went to Elim Youth Group’s senior night! Thanks so much to everyone for the surprises and heart-filled speeches! Thanks Mina for planning it out for us , I saw how much effort you put into it all and I really appreciate it . Basically, it was the best goodbye ever . It kind of went long lol because everyone had things to say, but I went up last since… today’s my last Sunday at Elim .

I cried like no other lol. I love them all and it’s so sad that I have to leave. I wish I could have said more to others but some of them had to leave and some couldn’t make it, but I wish you all the best of luck and believe me, I will miss you all .

After everything, I walked into the youth group room to pick up my bags lol. I ended up being alone in the room, and as weird as it sounds, I said, “goodbye youth group room ” lmao. I’ll miss everything.

My car had problems trying to go home haha but we made it! Thank God!

It was such a great time .

Memorable Moments:

1. Catching our stove, picnic table on fire >.< and just… staring at it lol.
2. Bonding w/everyone and making songs w/Christine and Anthony (Annie…maybe haha)
3. Trying to roast marshmellows on the campfire but only to feel the intense heat
4. Scary stories around the campfire!!
5. Seeing the 5000000 stars + a shooting star!
6. The very successful cooking competition = everyone’s food went together well!

Tomorrow is my last day at Elim. I’m really sad , I”ll definitely miss everyone at church.
They’re having a senior’s night . I’ll be there all day w00t w00t lol.

Oh, and I had a REALLY scary dream. It was Biblical too.

Todayyyy played tennis and then went to Freshmen orientation at Clark. It was cool seeing everyone again and saying bye too.
Saw Andrea again after like.. 2304032409 years so it was cool! lol

Then, met some Yee, Vina, Jack, Melissa, Geoff, Jeff, Taylor, Cho, Bryan, and Jeremiah at Olive Garden. Yum yumm lol, then we all went to Taylor’s and played Cranium, Catch Phrase, and jumped on the trampoline . All was fun, but it’s kind of sad saying bye to each other. We’re not going to see each other for a long long time lol

I broke my racket strings today lol so I went to put in a order for them to be restrung. I also ran out of underwear since i’ve been lazy on the laundry… so I went to Wal Mart and bought more hahaha .

-I’ll be gone Friday and Saturday. CAMPINGGGG w/the church at Zion National Park it shall be fun!

I’ve had boring days the yesterday and today . Except I went out and ate lunch w/Erica lol. Her dad’s cool .

I’ve made kimchi bokkumbab (kimchi fried rice) lol for the past two days, practicing for my camping trip haha. The hard part is making the rice from a normal pot >.< lol it’s like.. KILLER haha. 

Today, I ordered pizza for Jane cuz I’m cool like that! haha
Vina came over because she was bored lol. But she brought me some vanilla bean frap from starbucks YAY and a goodbye gift w/my name engraved on it *touched* haha THanks Vina. THen we were being retarded and just started hackie sacks at each other for like.. 40 minutes haha. My dad thought we were too crazy so he gave us a movie to watch. Warrior- it was good .

Afterwards, Vina left, and my family went to visit our grandparents . We ate and I said my goodbyes to them. I’ll miss em’ *tears* lol. This moving away thing is really happeningggg!!
