  • Everyone’s sick .
My brother, me, my friends, Aunt Toni .
Pray for us especially Aunt Toni because she has a little baby to take care of!

So I want to sound cool, so here’s my true story of the day.
I got escorted outside a building by a security guard.

(but..it was because the library closed and she told us to leave, and we didn’t because we still had 10 minutes).

Why don’t they open our library for 24 hours? It’s weird. All we do is study anyway lol. eh..kind of haha

    Random thoughts of the day:

    1. What do I want to be? What am I called to be?
    2. Orgo…..orgo…Or go? (get it? Orgo or GO (away from orgo)..haha)
    3. Boo Red Sox (don’t kill me)
    4. It’s cold today, and I can’t sleep because I keep coughing
    5. Wow. God is amazing.

It’s official. I’m a dot and nothing in this entry made sense

  • You know you’re bored.. or something’s weird about you when…

    1. You go to facebook, webmail, gmail cnn (repeat x 10) in the past 10 minutes.
    2. You’ve got a class you gotta wake up for in 4 hours and you’re still not sleeping
    3. Worse.. you’ve got an exam to take after the class and you’re STILL up
    4. You make videos… that you finally watch after thinking they’re so great, and then realize how crazy you seem
    5. You want to read instead of sleep even though you’re very tired at this exact moment

This is a random blog by the crazy crazy boy named Young.

Oh wait. Cool thing though. I’m actually making friends at age 19. Wow.

I just made myself sound weirder. SOOO bye

    Jesus rules!

Oh.. speaking of that. Whenever I wear TOTALLY AWESOME Jesus shirts like, “Jesus U” or “Abreadcrumb&Fish” or “Got Jesus?” .. etc, I get weird looks. I don’t know if they’re good or not.

Ok. Well I leave off with JESUS RULES~!

Oh.. and people are crazy here.

  • Whoa, it has been a while . I’m finally back home Vegas Vegas Vegas

Summer has been amazing so far. Being a counselor was pretty kick-butt but tiring.
When I had my exit interview, I was thrown praises all around, but there was something in the end that got to me. “You were great, you were the best, all the parents and kids and co-workers loved you….but you need to work on one thing. You work too hard, you give too much. You need to draw a line on how much you work, because sometimes people will take advantage of you. Stop being so nice and step back for once.” (I’m not saying I was the best or anything, I’m half-quoting what my boss told me during my interview).
This whole summer I’ve been struggling with this issue. Am I too nice? Do people take advantage of me because of it?
Even on the plane ride home, they asked for two people who came together to offer their seats for a father and his toddler. No one budged. I couldn’t do anything because I came alone. But in the end, out of all 120+ passengers on the plane, the attendant chooses to ask me, a random Asian boy having a friendly conversation with a random grandma, if I could move. (Which didn’t make sense because that still only opened up one seat). Another man from behind who had an empty chair next to him took my spot so that there could be two seats adjacent to each other. (why couldn’t they have just asked him to move to the back)? *Shrugs* lol. Anyway, I went through all the chairs and they were all taken..which was baffling to me. Finally, one of the ladies in the very back row stands up and gives me her middle seat because she was a flight attendant chatting with her friend. I hate sitting in the back of anything, more bumpy = booo. lol they offered to buy me a drink though (without me complaining), too bad I was underage (And I don’t drink).
But what would have happened if I simply said, “no, I like my seat in the front.” (that’s so not me though.. haha)
And another thing, why did she ask me? Do I give off a “hey lookie here, I’m kind of a nice guy” vibe?
lol Don’t get me wrong, I like being nice. I kind of feel like it defines who I am, and I really enjoy seeing the look on other people’s faces when I do something for them. It’s rewarding. But how much can I give?

Also, do people take advantage of me without me noticing? This year there was only one incident where I felt like people took advantage of me. (I don’t consider the plane ride someone taking advantage of me; it just simply got me thinking). Is it even legit to say that someone took advantage of me if I, the ‘victim,’ doesn’t recognize it? Also, it can be the other way around. If someone is very nice, don’t you take advantage of him/her without knowing that you’re taking advantage of him/her?

*Shrugs* Questions that linger in my mind this summer lol.

Anyway, going back to the camp. I’ve made some awesome friends .

Home is weird. I sit around and do nothing. I eat and sleep.
The Japanese (I think) made a great dessert called…mochi ice cream. My parents bought enough to last my brother and I for a 3 weeks (That’s two each a day). Bad news.. I finished it all in 3 days… by myself.. my brother isn’t home yet lol. I’ve also gained quite a bit a weight in a 3 days, w00t, goo summer! lol

  • RC Training is mostly fun, but I hate it at the same time because it takes away hardcore from my studying time lol.

I was put into a catch 22 last week, when my math professor was teaching with his fly/zipper whatever you call it down. It was VERY noticeable. Now the question in my head was… do I raise my hand and tell him, do I just let it go and have some other people notice, or do I give him subtle hints? lol.. well, I gave up and I didn’t do anything but laugh at random moments and try to hide those laughs with coughs..by golly I’m bad at this lol. What would you have done?

Today… I had the same situation happen again, except this time, I was the victim. I left my fly down for.. 3 hours. I noticed while in my math review session slumped back on my chair. Crap lol. I hope no one saw… hahaha.

RC training is exhausting. Exam week is exhausting. Life is exhausting lol.

I drove around with Phillycar share . w00t to move in. YAY. I’m an official East Coaster vehicle survivor .
I also parallel parked. Yes I’m proud . lol.

I scratched my legs today and temporarily jammed/locked my left middle finger…. wow im weird lol.

    I love kiddies .

    God is great .

  • So it’s been a long time .

Living Water Senior Week was AWESOME I had a blast. Paintballing, white water rafting, beach football, sunbathing, buffets , New Jersey, living with a bunch of friends ahhh what a beautiful time .

So I moved into an apartment off campus for the first half of summer. I found out one thing… moving takes forever lol. Then I took a flight to LA to go to UCLA for Cho yaya! Cho was an awesome host thanks buddy. I know I’ve been thinking about transferring there for a while (only during first semester) and wow… UCLA is AWESOME. Beautiful campus, beautiful people (both the outside and inside HAHA), awesome classes, laid back atmosphere *tears* I’ll miss it. But… Penn is where God put me and I’ve grown to love my own college. To everyone that was kind to me there thanks . Also got to hang out with Ryan, Aaron, and Matthew Kwong there . + Meet with Ryan’s famous friend – Austin.

Drive home = Traffic! BOO haha but I got to see my grandparents, aunt, cousins, uncle .

At home, I just… chilled with my parents and went out to meet with Wayne . Unfortunately I didn’t get to see a lot of people but hey, it was a two day vacation .

So that was my short short vacation. 2 days 2 nights in LA, 2 days 3 nights at home and now I go back to school. It’s kind of funny though, on my away message, I put “I’m already going back home” without even thinking something was wrong with that statement until Cho pointed it out to me. I guess I call Philly home now. If I think about it, I’m only in Vegas 3 weeks this whole entire year, sad huh. After that, I don’t even know if I’ll ever permanently move back. Growing up… *sigH* haha

    To the Living Water seniors:
I will miss you guys so much. If only you guys could feel the appreciation I have for your time, effort, and love  you’ve put into us , but you probably can’t feel that appreciation because no one has ever treated you guys with so much love as you’ve treated us . (I’m not in my writing mode right now so if that didn’t make sense just see it as a “thank you very much”) lol. I know that God has plans for all of you and I can’t wait until I see what you guys will bloom into but until then, keep in contact and know that I <3 you guys . It’s always special, that freshmen – senior bond .

Here I go…back into reality . Had a great break, great vacation, great time . Great… time for school haha. Flight Sunday morning

    JESUS RULES!!!
